Frequently asked questions

When will they be available? ＋

They will be available on the island after August, pending confirmation of the delivery date for container #4-5-6.

What do I need to reserve? ＋

A Cuban ID card (clear scanned photo of the front and back), a phone number and an email address so the importer can contact you.

How are payments made? ＋

In 2 parts: a first payment when you reserve and a second payment when the units arrive at the Port of Mariel. We deliver the unit fully assembled and running to avoid breakage and unnecessary returns.

Who invoices the tricycle in Cuba? ＋

The Tradex importer. The customer pays in person about 15% of the tricycle’s value (nationalization). For those who hire the extra service, we handle the process with their signature and authorization.

I live in another province, do I have to go to Havana? ＋

The importer is based in Havana. For an extra $100 USD we handle the billing process in Havana for you; it is no longer mandatory to do it in person.

Is there transport to other provinces? ＋

Yes. Transport to any city or municipality has an additional charge of $150 USD.

Are deposits refundable? ＋

No. If you cannot make the second payment when it is due, the initial deposit will not be refunded.

What payment methods do you accept? ＋

Zelle, Cash App or in-person payments at either of our 2 offices (Ivory Plaza, Nassau, Bahamas and West Kendall, Miami, Florida).
